New Jersey Nets at 0-18 start
Again, let's take a time out from King Lebron James news and focus on the New Jersey Nets NBA record-breaking start! That is 18 straight games and 18 straight losses to start the season! That record would pretty much be a laurel on their leaf, in fact, most of the players on the current New Jersey roster has pointed out that they don't want to be part of that record, but guess what, they just did!
The question now is, who will New Jersey beat first for the first W of the season? Every team on the NBA does not want that either, being the first team to be defeated by the winless New Jersey Nets. Please answer the poll.
I personally think that if Minnesota and New Jersey Nets will play again for this season, the New Jersey Nets will win. At least they have something to look forward to.
Allen Iverson is back with Philly
Timeout for King Lebron James and timeout for Allen Iverson's retirement. Allen Iverson is back! The former NBA MVP and scoring champion is back! And he is back for the team that drafted him #1 on the 1996 draft and with the team who he had a bitter departure with, the Philadelphia 76ers.
Coach Eddie Jordan said Iverson likely will start and stay the entire season.

"I told him I would like for him to start, and that's where it sort of ended," Jordan said. "And he was really like a kid at Christmas."What was failed to be mentioned though is if Allen Iverson will start the entire season once Lou Williams will be back after injury. For now, this is a good move by the Philadelphia 76ers knowing that they already have big-money players in Andre Igoudala and Elton Brand and they badly need to win. What is left to ponder is what happens at the later part of the season. Will Allen Iverson start over Lou Williams? How many minutes will he play once Lou Williams is back?

King LeBron James to change Jersey Number in respect for Jordan
Cavaliers star LeBron James says he will trade in his No. 23 uniform number for No. 6 after this season, out of respect for the greatest basketball player of all-time — and/or in an effort to increase merchandising sales.
Following Thursday night's win in Miami,with Jordan in attendance, LeBron James made the comments
Well, if you want to know why he would want to use No. 6, No. 6 was James' Olympic number, Julius Erving, who rocked it, is second-favorite player ever, and LBJ's first child was born on Oct. 6; his second in June (the sixth month).
Kobe Bryant changed from 8 to 24 (2x4=8) and Lebron James will change 23 to 6 (2x3=6). Is this coincidence or what?

After 2 Losses, Cavs bounce back with 3
Back from the dead! Just go so frustrated with last season's outcome that I forgot this blog existed. Anyhow, the King Lebron James, and the Cleveland Cavaliers has bounced back after 2 straight losses to start the new season.
Tonight's game proved a good sign for newly-acquired Shaquille O'neal as he has a season-high 21 points as the Cleveland Cavaliers won against longtime-rival Washington Wizards!
Let's keep our fingers crossed everyone!

New season ahead for the King; A ring for the King

Such strong words from the newly acquired big man for Cleveland Cavaliers.The Hall-of-fFme bound Shaquille O'neal was acquired by Cleveland from a trade with the Phoenix Suns in exchange for Sasha Pavlovic and Ben Wallace and he was welcomed by a team that believes he can bring this title-thirsty region its first major pro sports crown in 45 years.
During the NBA 2009 Eastern Conference Finals against the Orlando Magic, where Cleveland was pretty much favored to win, Cleveland failed to deliver. They had matchup problems at most positions, and that does not include the center position where Dwight Howard and even backup center Marcin Gortat was doing their damage.
"It's LeBron's team," he said. "He's the captain. This is the time in my career where I can fit in. I'm now in the security business. My job is to protect the King, and that's what I'm here to do."

I personally think this is a good trade by the Cleveland Cavaliers. You gave up Ben Wallace, who at the end of the season has expressed thoughts of retiring after a very steady NBA career, and Sasha Pavlovic, who is a decent shooter but too turnover-prone, for a Hall-of-Fame bound center in Shaquille O'neal, who at 36, can still be a force in the middle.
Could the Big Cactus be the "Big Answer" the Cleveland Cavaliers needs to get that championship? Might as well change Shaquille O'neals monicker to the "Big Answer". What a brilliant idea from me (not sure if others have opened it up though).
Could he be the missing piece in Clevelands bid for the NBA Championship? Could he be the Robin to Lebron James? Can he still deliver after a stellar performance last season in Phoenix?
