Lebron James not joining the Slam Dunk Contest

This sure is bad news. Almost everybody wants Lebron James to join the 2010 Slam Dunk Contest. I want to see Lebron James in the Slam Dunk Contest. You want to see Lebron James in the Slam Dunk contes and they want see him in the Slam Dunk Contest too. Lebron James has decided to skip next month’s event in Dallas after originally saying he would participate.

Anyway, Shaq has a better plan to get Lebron James to join the Slam Dunk Contest and this should spark more interest from the fans. Shaquille O’Neal has made a plan to save the NBA’s All-Star dunk contest: Bring back the superstars and do it for devastated Haiti.

O’Neal was asked if he would like to see teammate LeBron James participate in this year’s Slam Dunk Contest. That’s when he offered his idea. He would like to see former dunk champion Vince Carter, Kobe Bryant and others take part along with James.
“As his manager, I will only allow ‘Bron to do the dunk contest if Vince Carter comes back out. If Kobe comes back out and if another big name comes back out. If we could get a big prize and have half of the money go to the people of Haiti and the other half to the winner.

“The guys that are in it, no disrespect to them, but there won’t really be any competition for LeBron. I want to see Kobe. I want to see Vince and I will allow my client to enter.”
Shaq added,
“I’m saying it now, So tweet it. Facebook it. E-mail it and hopefully it gets out. Vince, we’re calling you out. Kobe, we’re calling you out. We’re calling everybody out. If those guys step up in the dunk contest, then I will allow my client to step up.”
I am pro what Shaq wants but they should change the name to All-Star Dunk Contest, not Rising Stars Dunk Contest. They can add in Dwayne Wade in the list too. Also, they can add Shaq for the sake of entertainment.

Let's start a movement. Lebron James in 2010 Slam Dunk Contest movemennt. Who's with me?

LeBron James: The Chasedown Video

There is a new term on the NBA and some NBA players fear it during a fastbreak. The new term is The Chasedown by Lebron James. You stole the ball from a Cavaliers player, you run down the court and just when you thought you are going to make an easy two, guess what? NOT! Someone is stalking you. Lebron James has chased you down the court and blocked your layup or dunk on the fastbreak.

Yes, Lebron James is not the first person who did "The Chasedown". In fact, Michael Jordan has had major chasedowns blocks on John Stockton (I can't find the video) and another chasedown block on Ron Mercer (and he did this when he was with the Washington Wizards, he was 40 years old).

Lebron James is just doing The Chasedown ever so often that I am personally annointing him The Chasedown King. Here is a video compilation of The Chasedown by Lebron James.

LeBron James: The Chasedown Video

Here is a bonus Chasedown by Lebron James on Jason Richardson. Jason Richardson has been a victim of the Lebron James' Chasedown two or three times. Here is a video Jason Richardson attempting a 360 dunk on a fastbreak. Guess what? Jason Richardson tasted yet another Chasedown by Lebron James. Check out Lebron James Chasedown block on Jason Richardson.

The Cavaliers' Tweets!

Since the King Lebron James does not have an official Twitter account, I've decided to add up the Cleveland Cavalier's Twitter feed on the sidebar instead of putting Lebron Fans' Twitter pages.

On another note, the The King Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are currently on a roll. They are currently riding a 7 game win streak. Hope they keep up the streak until the 2010 All-Star Break this February.!

Go Cavs!
